Welcome to the Issue Discussion chat room.
The purpose of this chat room is very simple:
- This is a place where drama issues taking place in the other chat rooms can be discussed between the Players and/or Ops, without disrupting those chat rooms and where PMs are too limited and cumbersome to use for resolving the problem.
RULES:
1) This room is NOT for RPing of any sort.
- Anyone found RPing in here will be banned from all of the villichat.net chat rooms. The conversations and PMs are logged, and it is easy to check for any inappropriate usage.
- Likewise, this chat may not be used to simply hold converstations with others. You can use the OOC chat room for that. This room is for working out and resolving player issues only.
- Do not hang out or lurk in this room. There is no reason to be here if you are not currently involved in a situation that requires some manner of discussion with others.
2) This room is NOT for posting gripes, complaints or requests about other Players or the chat rooms themselves.
- Once again, this chat room is where 2 or more players can come to resolve their personal issues with one another. It is not somewhere to attack or complain about people who are not here to defend themselves and discuss the situations.
- Requests or questions regarding the chat room policies or functionality can be made on the Yum Chat Message Board.
3) There are no requirements that the Ops use this room to handle any issues.
- Within the other chat rooms, the Ops still have the right and authority to kick people who do not listen. It is only when an Op chooses to try to work things out without having to resort to kicking, that they may choose to use this room. Use of this room is an 'option', not a requirement.
4) This room can be used by Players without the need to have an Op present.
- This room is for working out disputes directly related to the other chat rooms. Therefore, players in those chat rooms who are having issues with one another can use this room to work those issues out without the need to rely on the PM system or disrupting the chat room itself.
- The lack of an Op being present does not negate any of the other rules. The chat is still logged and failure to comply with the rules of this chat may result in you being banned from the chat rooms.
5) There are no requirements for another Player to agree to come here if it is requested.
- This room is a service being provided to offer a more private location to help resolve issues; but it is up to each individual Player to decide if they wish to use it or not.
6) Insults and threats are not allowed.
- Working out a dispute does not require the throwing of insults or the issuing of threats. It is still under the domain of the villichat.net network of chat rooms and people entering here are required to maintain the same level of respect and civility as in all of the chat rooms.
7) Clearing out of the chat buffer is allowed.
- Understanding that some of the discussions taking place in here may be of a more private nature, there are no objections to pushing a conversation out of the chat after it has ended.
- Because this is an open chat (ie: no need for a password to view it), it is suggested that any personal information not be given out publicly. Use the PM system so that any casual observers will not see it.
8) If you are not part of the problem and not trying to help, don't enter the chat.
- Issues cannot be resolved when people not involved in the situation and who know nothing about it, feel the need to voice their unwanted opinions.
- If you are trying to help but those involved in the problem ask you to butt out, respect their request and shut up.
